Once again - Knee news
Many of you have asked for a status report so here it is. I have started to get back to normal training but slow and easy and not too many hills for now. Today I did a 6 mile run without any issues so that is good news. We have some long workouts this weekend so it will be a good test for me.
Both coach Alex (also a physical therapist) and teammate Dr. Scott Bergman (a chiropractor) have told me that my hamstrings, quads, and IT band are tight so I have additional stretching to do. Dr. Scott also adjusted my tibia (ouch). I'm optomistic about how things are going and I will just have to pay attention to any warning signs and listen when (as my cousin Lynn puts it) "my knees are talking".
